


Cashmore inspired by many tours with Scottish National Opera across Scotland and by his father who especially loved Scottish music presents a wonderful programme with titles such as Scotland the Brave, My Love is Like a Red Red Rose, Down in the Glen, Loch Lomond, Auld Lang Syne, Amazing Grace, Flower of Scotland and many more. Two hours of the “Spirit Scotland”!
John Cashmore takes you on a journey through the Scottish Highlands and Isles with his velvety but powerful voice, accompanied by world-class musicians, the pianist STEPHAN WEILER and THE RHINE AREA PIPES & DRUM BAND including piano, drums and bagpipes, or with a 7 man band plus bagpipers, or with full orchestra with the scottish conductor Iain Sutherland. As “special Guest”, John´s wife Kaybee Cashmore will also be on stage.
Stephan Weiler studied church music in Aachen Germany and art and music in Cologne Germany. By eminent productions such as Hair, Rocky Carmen, Golden Musicals, Tommy he has been Musical Director and 1st keyboard. His list of prominent artist that he has accompanied to date includes Helen Schneider, Haddaway and also John Cashmore.
For this journey John appears in traditional Scottish dress and may reveal what a Scotsman wears or does not wear under his kilt!!Of course whisky is the Scottish traditional “spirit” and naturally this features in the concert series.
The stage is scenically set so that the audience has a wonderful feeling of Scotland.
